In particular, members of seven World Octa countries were invited to hold corporate meetings and one-on-one export consultations for representatives of 14 local companies, including companies participating in the Gwangju Joint Brand (GIEL).
In addition, members of seven World Octa countries, including Argentina, Australia, Canada, Turkey, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Japan, introduced the current status of economic exchanges with Korea and conducted export consultations with participating companies.
About 70 consultations were conducted at the export consultation meeting, and the amount of consultations reached 3 million. In addition, Turkey, Argentina, and the Philippines showed high interest in the products of companies using the Gwangju joint brand.
Among the companies participating in the Gwangju Co-Brand, there was a high interest in Aimat products that produce automatic seals.
Gwangju Metropolitan City and Gwangju Technopark plan to select companies that received good reviews at export consultations, hold additional consultations, and help them develop export markets.
Established in 1981, World Octa, a global Korean trade association, is an overseas Korean business organization composed of 143 branches in 68 countries, 700 CEOs, and 20,000 businessmen working to promote Korean economic development and exports.
